Who in their right mind does not just plain love Classical Petit Fours. A good Petit Four should feel like you are eating a silk cloud. The combination of moist vanilla sponge, supple marzipan and creamy confectioner's fondant is a melt-in-the mouth senstation. They are the demise of my sister Lindi's resistance. To me, the Classical Petit Four is the quintessential designer's pastry. It is in making these supremely lovely little cakes that I am able to marry my love for all things design and my love for baking.
